Musetta’s first exposure to Pilates was during her stint as a traveling nurse in New York City and San Diego. Seeking to find balance in the midst of her physically grueling nursing job, Musetta tootled from one upscale studio to another, so beginning her lifelong love affair with Pilates. This exercise regimen, centered around movement, mind-body meditation, and health-focused community provided the pause and physical power her body so strongly craved. Pilates fostered an inner strength that became an outflow of her Christ-centered spirituality. Over the years, these core components have continued to bring Musetta healing, strength, and rest.

A nurturer at heart and a natural advocate, Musetta feels at home in her career as a registered nurse but has always longed to take the extra step of opening a wellness studio, taking her training to a new level of excellence. Her clinical specialty is in women’s and children’s health, primarily labor and delivery. Since 2001, this work has helped to instill within Musetta a deep value of coming along side patients, encouraging and enabling them to embrace their path in life.

Since 2006, education has become the focus of Musetta’s nursing career. She teaches in the health science program at the SRJC, and she organizes and teaches high school health career programs. Musetta’s youthful, adventurous energy inspires her teenage students, as she challenges them to carefully consider their journey and realize their goals. As a nurse and teacher, Musetta strives to consistently foster a hunger that craves quality of life through health and education.

Musetta received her nursing degree from Sonoma State University. She completed her MBA at Mills College, with a concentration in Nonprofit Management. Musetta received her Pilates mat training with Physical Mind Institute and with Tone Studio, Santa Rosa. She completed her Pilates Apparatus training with Balanced Body. Bringing her love for people, health and education to each class, Musetta pulls from her experience with healthcare and business as she creates a solid environment that offers clients a place to find balance and strength for their lives.

When she is not reaching out to those around her, Musetta loves to paddle-board the river, hike beautiful Sonoma County, and indulge in her community of family and friends!
